Cyber Readiness for multi-academy trusts
Run consistently across a Multi-Academy Trust, Cyber Readiness gives central leadership a comparable view of cyber posture across every school, a coordinated improvement programme, and group-level assurance that individual assessments cannot provide.
Clarity for everyone who has to act
The value of Cyber Readiness lands differently for each audience, and the trust-wide view is where it is strongest.
School and trust leadership
A plain-English view of where the school stands, what matters most, and what to do next, without needing a specialist to interpret it. It turns an abstract obligation into a prioritised, budgetable plan that governors and trustees can engage with directly.
IT leads
An independent, evidence-based view of the network's vulnerabilities and a prioritised action list, produced with a documented method. It validates what they already suspect and gives them the evidence to secure investment.
Finance and procurement
A defined-scope, defined-cost engagement with a clear improvement plan attached, and a compliant procurement route where required. Spend can be phased against risk rather than committed all at once.
The trust as a whole
Run consistently across member schools with consolidated reporting at trust level. A comparable view of posture across the estate, a coordinated improvement programme, and group-level assurance. Trusts gain the fullest view: a consolidated, comparable picture across every school in the estate.
Annual for a baseline, termly for continuous assurance
Cyber posture changes as networks, staff and threats change. A one-off assessment gives you a first position; repeated assessment shows movement and keeps the improvement plan live.
Baseline position
A once-yearly assessment, consultant-led with a full on-site day and a self-assessment element. It gives the school an annual position against the Department for Education (DfE) standards, an updated improvement plan, and an evidence point for governors and the Risk Protection Arrangement. Best suited to single schools and smaller trusts.
Continuous assurance
Three assessments a year, aligned to the school terms. Termly cadence keeps the improvement plan current, tracks remediation progress across the year, and creates a continuous relationship. Best suited to trusts and schools that want continuous assurance rather than an annual checkpoint.
